The History Of MineSet Partners                                               MineSet Partners' Managing Director, Todd Harris

MineSet Partners, LLC is an independent consulting firm established in 2002 for the purposes of providing business consulting services to active and prospective participants in the global industrial minerals and inorganic chemicals industry. MineSet Partners was founded on the business concept that an industrial mineral firms success or failure in the global marketplace is as much determined by the quality of its resource as it is on the company's “mindset ” or approach to the marketplace.

MineSet Partners offers its international clients an extensive array of proprietary research capabilities combined with the knowledge and insights gained from its ongoing catalogue of prominent industry research reports, including our three major global syndicated series: The Global Outlook for Coating and Filler Pigments in Paper, The Outlook for Performance Minerals in Industrial and Consumer Markets, and Specialty Silicas Global Strategic Analysis.

MineSet Partners LLC is located near New York City in Northern New Jersey, with regional affiliates to serve its clients needs on a global basis in the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom.

The Managing Director of MineSet Partners LLC is Todd Harris.  Prior to forming MineSet Partners in 2002, Mr. Harris was a Director in the Kline Group's Minerals and Chemicals Practice.  The Kline Group is an international management consulting and market research firm based in New Jersey. 

Throughout his twenty-plus years career with Kline and MineSet Partners, Mr. Harris has been involved with developing and growing each firm's international capabilities in the industrial minerals and inorganic chemicals sectors, as well as the management and execution of consulting engagements for multinational clients in a broad range of industry segments. In addition, he directed or assisted in the completion of over 30 major syndicated studies in the minerals and materials industry, including the aforementioned continuing service programs.

Mr. Harris has a B.S. in mineral economics from the Pennsylvania State University. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Society of Mining, Metallurgy, and Engineering (SME), one of the largest professional societies serving the minerals industry; and as a past Chairman of the Industrial Minerals Division of SME. Todd Harris is the current advisor on the SME Strategic Committee for Marketing and Outreach, and also serves as Chairman of the Dreyer Professional Development Committee. The DPDC annually recognizes individuals from the Industrial Minerals community and funds worthwhile initiatives for the benefit of non-metallic industrial mineral geologists.
